LPG Info - updated August 2018 by Worksafe
The EPA has clarified information surrounding LPG in a variety of situations in very clear and easily read format - please click the appropriate link below to view, download or print the document you require. These have been rebranded by Worksafe and as far as seen remain unchanged.
LPG in the HOME - as of 1 December 2018 - Private Residence (family home / holiday home) - only facilities with more than 360kg LPG require certification for a private residence and will be certified through by us and the register of certificates is maintained by the EPA.
- Residences which generate income eg B&B / Lodges / Private small hotels etc - certification requirements remain unchanged more than 100kg requires certification and this is continues on through Worksafe.

- If they are attached to the same building and the total volume exceeds 100kg then YES you do need certification.
- If they are on separate buildings or structures but LESS THAN 5 metres apart then YES you need certification.
- If they are on separate buildings or structures and are MORE THAN 5 METRES APART then CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED.
