During the last few days of May we attended the EPA conference in Wellington.
The opening address was from Minister for the Environment Hon Amy Adams and highlighted her dedication to ensure people who went to work were safe and were able to go home to their families each day. Hazardous Substances was a key area of focus.
New tools and a dedicated website were unveiled to help SMALL INDUSTRIAL BUSINESSES manage their hazardous substances. The tools are written in an easy to understand and practical way and takes you through the 5 steps to safety with simple workable tools to assist with each step.
