Duties of compliance certifier
The compliance certifier has assessed your request for a compliance certificate under the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017.
The certifier has identified that a relevant requirement has not been met, which prevents the certifier from issuing you a compliance certificate.
When this happens, the compliance certifier must notify WorkSafe of their reasons for refusing to issue a compliance certificate.
It is mandatory for the compliance certifier to tell WorkSafe about the refusal and the reasons for the refusal under Regulation 6.23 of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017.
